Sept. 14 National High School Team Rankings

Oak Ridge, No. 6 in this week’s rankings, showed off the spirit of Aloha during an August trip to Oahu. today presents its first in-season national high school rankings of 2017. Please note that this week and next, we will rank only the top 25. Thereafter we will return to our customary Top 100.

    Interesting that O’Connor at 28-3 is mentioned for beating both Reagan and Rouse and yet can’t even get mentioned in the other teams we love category.

    While I agree OC is probably not top 25 I disagree on the two head scratching losses. Dawson is number 12 and Johnson 22 in the state coaches poll. George Ranch came back to score the last 5 to beat OC behind awesome play by Audrey Tuttle and Kennedy Prince. No shame in that loss but granted they probably should have won.
