We take a look at where the bids landed in the 16s divisions for Junior Nationals. Whereas in the 15s, the Florida region led the way with six qualified teams, it’s back to normalcy in the 16s as Southern California is on top with seven Open bids, followed by North Texas with four. North Texas also dominated in the USA division, racking up a whopping nine bids in that division. The Lone Star Region added six bids, so that means of the 36 teams playing in 16 USA this summer, 15 are from the state of Texas, or nearly half.
