With 18 of the 31 clubs nationally-ranked, the Music City Championships offered the most competitive field yet, topping all the January 18s qualifiers with its depth. And there were no previously-qualified teams in the mix to help out in the bid chase either.

It was going to take a first, second or third-place showing to secure a spot in the 48-team Open field in Dallas later this year. The qualifying spots ended up going to the top-three ranked teams in Nashville according to PrepVolleyball.com’s rankings in No. 6 Top Select 18 Elite Blake, No. 9 Legacy 18-Elite and No. 19 TK 18 Legends.
