Class of 2022 Texas Recruit First Since 2020; a Look at Projections

The University of Texas received a verbal commitment from libero/DS Emma Halter last week. In fact, the Indianapolis recruit from Roncalli HS (IN) and Team Indiana is the Longhorns’ first committed athlete after the 2020 class had signed.

Halter was an IHSVCA Second Team All-State selection in the 2019 season at Roncalli and has been honored as an AAU All-American, among other honors.

As we were thinking about Texas and Halter’s place among the Longhorns, we became curious if there will be any 2021 recruits before Halter gets on campus – and we think, maybe not.
