ORLANDO – With temperatures soaring outside in Central Florida, volleyball teams from across the country turned up the heat inside the Orange County Convention Center on Saturday.
Top teams from Texas, Florida, Ohio, Georgia, North Carolina, and Washington, D.C., came away big winners during opening-round pool play of the 15 Open division in the Sunshine Classic USAV National Qualifier. But not every high seed went unscathed.
