ORLANDO – Speed, power, finesse, and fundamentals – the Sunshine Volleyball Classic featured plenty of that and more this past weekend at the Orange County Convention Center.

From the 15 American division to 18 Open, dozens of teams showcased some serious skills before scores of college recruiters, family and fans. Some of the Open teams – the elite division of club volleyball – displayed NCAA Division I talent up and down their rosters. Others had players who showed the same grittiness and ability that their more talented counterparts had, and then some.

That array of athleticism produced plenty of upsets and nail-biting drama throughout the three days of this USAV qualifier. Without further ado, here are the top 10 teams that I saw and what made them so great:
