USAV Rule Changes for the 2021 Club Season
FacebookTwitterEmailPrint

Each year, USA Volleyball (USAV) comes out with their updated Championship Manual and notes the changes that will go into effect for the upcoming club season.

We’ve been talking a lot about what’s changed regarding the COVID-19 pandemic including restrictions and the USAV's recommendations for teams and players returning to the court.

However, we have seen that some clubs have been competing already, even over the holiday break and in the first few days of 2021! It’s time to talk about what is possible instead of what’s off-limits! (By the way, if you are a club director or coach and haven't let us know about your club team, please do so by filling out this form - thank you!)

We did an article like this last year and highlighted the USAV rule changes. Those items are still in the manual, but you may not have noticed the changes due to the shortened 2020 club season. You can see the entire article here and a brief breakdown of those rules at the end of this page.
