PrepVolleyball.com's HS Sophomore of the Year Finalists (2018)

We have trimmed our National Sophomore of the Year list down to 35 finalists. They are listed below.

To be considered for this honor, a sophomore had to make a “massive” impact on her high school team and the state. “Massive” is a subjective term, but at a minimum required that she have statistics that were the best on her team at her position and that she typically be one of the top 2-3 players in her state regardless of class.

I want to stress that the National Player of the Year award is based solely on HIGH SCHOOL ACHIEVEMENT in 2018, not past stardom or future collegiate success. It comes down to this: What kind of impact did you have on your team and your state in 2018? Playing on a team that won a state title, advanced far in the state tournament and/or was nationally ranked was not only helpful but also critical to her inclusion here.
