Just after falling to Conway in the 2018 Arkansas 6A state championship, long time Southside High coach Steve Haaser announced his retirement. We often hear about multi-sport athletes, but rarely do we hear about multi-sport coaches who have success in each sport. Coach Haaser was the exception.
