BK also competes for Lake Ridge High School in Mansfield, Texas, where she secured starting
6-rotation position on the Varsity team of the 6A Division as a Freshman. Functioning in all six
rotations as a Defensive Specialist (DS) and Outside Hitter (OH), under the guidance of
Coach Amber Hughes, she serves as the co-captain of the team. Anticipated to graduate in
2027, she showcased versatility throughout her freshman season, skillfully transitioning
between Libero, DS, and Outside Hitter roles. Noteworthy is her capacity to step in as a setter
when the season required, underscoring her adaptability and exceptional skills in ball control,
defensive reading, and swift reactions. Concluding the season with impressive statistics, she
tallied 112 Kills, 37 serving aces, and 378 digs, maintaining an average of 3.4 digs per set.
Notably, she led the team in serve receive receptions, accumulating a total of 530 for the
season.
