USA Volleyball Hit With Corona-Related Layoffs
FacebookTwitterEmailPrint

On Thursday, June 18th, USA Volleyball was forced to make the same difficult decisions that many other businesses and organizations have had to make. 19 USA Volleyball employees were laid off or chose to retire, and another 11 staff members were furloughed. The Covid-19 pandemic took an overwhelming toll on the volleyball world, specifically cancelling tournament after tournament, and eventually USAV Girls Junior Nationals, leaving the organization with little to no revenue left to earn from the 2020 club season or the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
