On Wednesday, Class of 2022 athlete Hayden Kubik announced her commitment to the University of Nebraska. The 6-2 OH from Valley HS (West Des Moines, Iowa) helped her club team, Club Ignit Select 16 Blue, win the 16 Elite division at the prestigious Triple Crown National Invitational Tournament this February.

She has ties to the Huskers as her older sister Madi Kubik was a starting outside and the Big Ten Freshman of the Year in the 2019 season. But this Kubik - Hayden - is forging her own path.
