Recruiting 101: I've Received an Offer - Now What?
FacebookTwitterEmailPrint

We’re continuing our series on PrepVolleyball.com, “Recruiting 101,” where we’ll deliver valuable advice from club recruiting directors across the country. The content in these articles is provided by them and it is real advice that they tell their athletes to assist them in their recruiting journeys.

In past editions, we’ve looked at topics such as narrowing your list of colleges and finding the best fit, talking to coaches on the phone, planning a campus visit, and more… all of which (hopefully!) leads to an offer. Trent Tcheng, the Director of College Recruitment at San Gabriel Elite Volleyball Club, leads Prospective Student-Athletes (PSAs) through some key considerations after receiving an offer.

Congratulations! You were lucky enough to receive an offer. This should be one of the most exciting moments in your volleyball career. All the hard work, long tournaments, and hundreds of practices have finally paid off. For some of you, this could be a very easy decision. But, for others, this will be very emotional and complicated.
