INDIANAPOLIS – When AZ REV 15 Adidas Phoebe Stebner took a hard smash to the face in the 15 American championship match, the Libero felt dizzy and stunned at the power of her opponent: NKYVC 15-1 Tsunami.
AZ REV or Revolution went on to lose that second set – its first set loss of the four-day tournament – to force a deciding third set for the title Monday in the USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Championships at the Indiana Convention Center.
