Athlete Mindset: What is Mental Training?

PrepVolleyball has partnered with Paige Tonz, an Athlete Mindset Mentor who helps athletes learn the tools that are going to allow them to be successful in their sport. A former DI athlete herself, Tonz’s goal is to help transform athletes into strong people beyond the playing field and court.

In the second episode of Athlete Mindset, Tonz and Nicole Peterson dig into what mental training actually is and how you can control the effects it produces. Tonz goes over several factors that athletes can practice to get the most out of their time on the field, and finally wraps things up noting the balance that mental and physical skills and conditioning have on any given athlete.
