PrepVolleyball’s Quarantine Corner with Jordan Thompson

We spoke with Jordan Thompson, a former Northern Lights VBC club member and recent graduate of the University of Cincinnati and current professional player. Thompson helped the U.S. Women’s National Volleyball team qualify for the Olympics before entering her senior year with the Bearcats when she led them to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen for the first time in school history. Thompson now holds the NCAA record (in the Division I rally-scoring era) for most kills in a match with a staggering 50 kills.

We talked about the Olympics being on hold and trying to make the U.S. roster, when she first realized her talent, her recruiting process (she wasn’t originally committed to Cincinnati!), staying at Cincinnati (not a Power Five school), and much more.
