The Sunday's Gold Medal bracket quarterfinals are set after an extensive second day would see hopeful title contenders take the next step toward claiming a National Championship, while some would be caught in the turbulent wake of the chaos that this high-intensity, ultra-pressurized competition naturally creates. We'll outline the quarterfinal matchups, and recognize some of the day's standout competitors, as the final push for the top mountain is within reach for the "elite eight" teams who have managed to will their way to the final checkpoint before the final sprint to the title match.
