Triple Crown NIT: 17s Preview and Prediction
FacebookTwitterEmailPrint

If you missed the 18s preview to start the week, you can catch up here. Below, we continue on with the 17s Division of the Triple Crown Sports NIT this coming weekend in Kansas City.

There are four power pools in the 17s. That means those teams are playing for spots 1-32 in the gold bracket, which starts on Day 2. Teams in Power Pool A are playing for seeds 1-8, teams in Power Pool B 9-16, etc. The added power pool isn't the only change from the 18s format.

In the 17s, the remaining field is broken into 32, three-team pools. To break pool, clubs must come in first or second. But from there they face a crossover match to get into the 32-team gold bracket.

Watch for the 16s Division preview out Wednesday and the 15s on Thursday. Additionally, PrepVolleyball.com is attending the event and is providing daily plus post-event coverage.
