Everyone in the power pools is assured of a spot in the 64-team gold bracket. Teams in Power Pool A are playing for seeds 1-8, teams in Power Pool B for seeds 9-16, etc. Teams not in power pools must come in first or second on Day 1, then have to win a crossover match to qualify for the gold bracket. Starting Day 2, play is single elimination.
